    NPP grad night:)

    The highlight of last week I have to say, would be our graduation. 

    It felt so nice to have everyone reunited! :) I had a lot of fun that night performing and just catching up with everyone. AND, I also made some new friends. Haha, its pretty sad that despite all the camps we had and everything I still don’t know every single person in NPP.

    Its been a while, haven’t really had that much time to write. Its been crazy. I wish I had more photos to upload! :) Got to wait till everyone uploads em. :) Also I guess you know how a graduation feels, yep. Haha Shall not elaborate further. Will just let all the pictures do the talking:)

    Its wednesday, so i’m officially in the middle of a new week:) So far its been pretty bad, with all the tests not going very well and all. But tonight I had quite a bit of fun at SCC :)  Nothing exciting is happening tomorrow.. My week is pretty much set though. Got everything planned out. And its A LOT of stuff to do. Ahh. 

    Classes start at 3pm tomorrow! But I’ve got work to do, so I’m waking up way early. Haha. Well, good night! 

    Ps-the dance thing we were practicing for went.. OKAY. haha okay only yeah. HAHA KAYBYE.

    Because we don’t get holidays like we used to.

    Today, I went to school. 

    Sniff.

    I wish we had holidays like the JC kids. Then we could hang out. :( Anyway. I had a very tiring day today, filled with lessons.. dancing and a movie! Haha. But really I AM SO TIRED. 

    I feel like someone just dropped a rock on me. 

    Okay not really, that would have hurt. Haha.

    So, E learning week was fun! Haha it was almost as if they just gave us a week off or something. I finished most of the e learning in a day:) Haha IMMA HAPPY GIRL:)

    Got to prepare myself for this week though, its going to be very draining. I love school so much i’m going to be staying there everyday till 9pm. Haha just kidding. I do love school, haha but i’ll be staying back to dance. And not forgetting CCAs. 

    BTW during the e learning week I managed to cough out a cover!

    Alright, so thats all for now although I have so much more to say. I am extremely tired and am in dire need of sleep.

    Musical Montage

    Went back to PL for a performing arts concert last night! Acts consisting of Choir, Guitar and Band.

    I’ve never actually watched our own concerts before. Since half the time we are involved in it. Haha so heres my review. 

    I thought the acts were pretty okay. Was pretty impressed by band. I’ve never really heard them play before. Haha I thought choir did well too. Unfortunately the song that I was looking forward to hearing wasn’t sung :( Not sure why though! A japanese song if i remember correctly.

    Shucks. And my phone died so I didn’t take many pictures…

    I have to say that it was a pretty good turn out. Didn’t expect so many people:) Haha. Next up! The musical! I really can’t wait! Its going to be in June I think. Will make sure to catch it!

    Coincidentally, the sec4s of 2012 stepped down yesterday and a new committee was put into place. I have to say, it feels like such a long time since we were part of the committee. I miss them all. I miss working together with them.

    To the committee of 2013:

    All the best! :) Never lost sight of whats important and never give up. Always build of each others’ energy and work together. Your committee members are the ones that are going to support you 100%. Also a note to everyone, don’t be scared of taking up so much responsibility. Just do your best;) And if its too much to handle, ask your committee for help. They can be such life-savers. Haha:) Think positive and be flexible!:) YOU GUYS CAN DO IT:)

    Sooo.

    This week has been relatively good I guess. Despite screwing up my ambassadors’ games interview.. (It would be an absolute miracle if I make it through to the next round). We did our CIP on saturday morning, which was basically to paint walls. Ermmmm. Went for inline skating, it was awesome so I’m definitely going to continue! Haha OH! 

    ITS E LEARNING WEEK! whoop whoop! So that gives me plenty of time to finish up all the covers I’ve been wanting to do. That is IF my voice doesn’t die. I just caught slight flu:( 

    Alright, so thats about it for now!

    When its Crazy.

    These first 2 weeks of school have been pretty hectic. With so many events back to back! 

    I mean, it is exciting, but at the same time, its also very draining. I think at this point, the analogy Joanne mentioned during DG is very relevant. She mentioned something about us being batteries, and constantly having to recharge.. or we will soon die out. Something along the lines of that. I feel it. I feel like I’m dying out and I haven’t been doing my QT regularly enough to recharge. Sometimes I feel I even shortchange God with my short and convenient prayers. 

    It doesn’t work that way, and I am going to change and prioritize. 

    Good thing I figured that out when we just started school:) At least now I know how to live the rest of the few years in this school filled with constant excitement. Haha:)

    So, aside from that, which has been on my mind for quite a while now.

    Events that went/are going on these 2 weeks:

    1. CCA “tryouts” :

    I think the tryouts here mean literally TRYING out each of the CCAs to see which one fits you most. So far as of today, I’ve only been for cheerleading. Haha and though it is very fun and its something new, I don’t think its quite the one for me. Haha. Especially since trainings are so intense. Plus, I would like to do something musical as well:) Something sports related, something musical and something for event planning and leading. 

    2. Dance4Fun

    I took part in this Dance4Fun competition. Which is basically an annual dance competition between the various schools in Ngee Ann itself. ( I think I did briefly mention dancing in the previous post) I thought we did a good job on stage, but for some reason the judges didn’t like us I guess. However despite not winning and all that jazz. We all had so much fun practicing and it was just such a memorable experience. Really, if you ever have the opportunity to take part in this, GO FOR IT:)

    3. DPA kaleidescope

    We have this graduation ceremony coming up soon and within that theres going to be a segment where we can showcase our talent! (Whatever talent that we have) So I’m going to try auditioning! (Together with Brendan) And see how it goes;) I hope we make it. HAHA. Been practicing for it too. Singing of course.

    4. CIP

    A long time ago, we signed up for some CIP thing. Haha. The actual action itself is this Saturday (painting), but we had to attend an opening ceremony at Singapore Poly, so that took place on Sunday Morning. It was nice to see everyone again:)

    5. Birthdays

    So many birthdays have come and go. Cards are piling up. I shall complete them this week! Even if I have to stay up late to finish them. Haha considering how its 1.30am on a school night and I’m typing this, I’m sure I’ll be able to do it:) Haha. HAPPYBIRTHDAY APRIL BABIES.

    6. Zoe’s Recording Project

    Also on Friday last week quite a number of us stayed back to record a song that Zoe, Syasya and Sha wrote together I think. Correct me if I’m wrong because I’m not too sure. But it was pretty cool:) 

    7. PLMGSS Concert! (Choir included)

    This Saturday! I AM GOING for the choir concert back in PL. Man do I miss it. I miss choir and I miss PL! I love listening to choral music. Like, “boring” choral music. I LOVE IT. Haha I don’t know how or when I learnt to start appreciating it exactly, but I really do love it. Makes me feel so happy every time. I’m definitely looking forward to a night filled with old friends, a familiar environment and most importantly, MUSIC. 

    I think thats just about all for now. Hopefully I didn’t miss out anything. Then again, if I did, excuse me cause its 1.34am in the morning. I’m a little woozy. Haha. Shall head to bed and prepare for a long day tomorrow.

    Worn Out

    I think I am way too tired. Mentally, Physically. Too many things going on in my mind and around me. I going to take a break for now:) Just for a little while.

I will turn 17 as of21 March 2012. I go to PLMGSS Ngee Ann Poly under the course Mass Communication, where my CCA is CHOIR I dont have a CCA just yet:) But I'm definitely planning on it. It is the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I AM VERY EXCITED:) I am a CHRISTIAN and I go to JYM.(JesusYouthMinistry@StJamesChurch), where I am part of a lovely cell group called FLAMINGOTIMPANI! I love how musically themed this year is:)
